Bruce Holladay
Bruce Holladay is not only an educator but a member of the Directors Guild of America. Bruce started his career in broadcasting in 1993. He has worked in both the radio and television industry.Bruce earned his bachelors in telecommunications from Michigan State University. His television career has taken him from WKAR the PBS station in Lansing to WILX the CBS station and Fox47 both in Lansing. After working in smaller market television, Bruce jumped to large market TV in Detroit at WDIV. While teaching, Bruce continues to work part-time as a fill-in Director at WDIV.
Bruce currently teaches at Oxford High School in Oxford, Michigan. He also is adjunct faculty with communications school at the University of Michigan-Flint and Lawrence Technological University. When Bruce isn't teaching or working at WDIV, he continues to work on other freelance production projects with his company North 42 Media.
Jennie Holladay
Jennie Holladay is a Digital Media Arts instructor at Lapeer County Ed-Tech in Attica, Michigan. She has been teaching video and audio production, graphic design, digital imaging and web design for five years. She has a masters in Technology in Education from the University of Michigan-Flint. She earned her bachelors in broadcast journalism from the prestigious University of Missouri School of Journalism. She started her career as a producer and reporter at KOMU-NBC 8 in Columbia, Missouri. She has produced television news at the Fox and CBS affiliates in Kansas City, Missouri. Jennie returned to Michigan in 2001 to work as a news producer at WDIV - Local 4.
Jennie continues to work in the television field as a freelance producer. She works at the North American International Auto Show, America's Thanksgiving Parade, Arts, Beats and Eats among other events. Holladay also works along side her husband producing short documentaries for their production company North 42 Media. In 2004, their documentary on the Port Huron to Mackinac Sailboat race was nominated for a Michigan Emmy.
Doug Hart
Doug Hart is currently a social studies teacher at Iroquois High School in Louisville, Kentucky. Doug has also spent a number of years overseas, teaching in the Middle East and Central Europe.While at the Ramallah Friends School in Israel's Occupied Territories, Doug initiated a filmmaking project with his English students.
As a result, a 65 minute student docudrama was produced by his students called My Fair Palestine. It presents Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet in a modern West Bank setting. Learn more about this film project and download the movie at www.rnjpalestine.com.
